One of the best documentaries ever made about Margaret Thatcher and her retarded vision for Britain while she was still in power. This film was hated by the Conservative party and received a record number of complaints to the BBC.

A very nice portrait of Youssou N'Dour, at that time at the height of his fame as Africa's most influential singer. Entirely shot in the streets and clubs of Dakar, Senegal. Tariq Ali was the producer in London.

Early Years: probably the first film I edited after leaving film school, more than forty years ago.

Commissioned and produced by Alex Cox and Eric Fellner to accompany the punk feature film Sid & Nancy, starring Gary Oldman. This version—but with all Sex Pistols music strangely covered up for legal reasons—is included as a DVD/Blu-ray extra in the Criterion Collection edition of Cox's cult feature film.
